About the Journal
The Journal of Science, Technology, Education, Art and Medicine (J-STEAM) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal established in 2023, with its first issue published in June 2024. The journal publishes original scholarly work that advances knowledge at the intersection of science, technology, education, and medicine, with a particular emphasis on interdisciplinary research relevant to health, biomedical sciences, medical education, and public health.
J-STEAM is published exclusively online and follows a semi-annual publication schedule (June and December).

Aims and Scope
J-STEAM aims to disseminate high-quality, peer-reviewed research that contributes to scientific understanding, innovation, and evidence-based practice in medicine, health sciences, biomedical research, and health-related education.
The journal welcomes the following article types:
- Original research articles
- Systematic and narrative reviews
- Case studies and case series
- Short communications
J-STEAM prioritizes interdisciplinary studies that integrate scientific, technological, educational, and clinical perspectives, particularly where they inform healthcare delivery, medical education, public health policy, and translational research.
Publication Model
J-STEAM is a fully open-access journal. All published articles are freely available immediately upon publication.
Manuscripts submitted to J-STEAM undergo editorial screening followed by double-blind peer review by independent external reviewers. Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
